Which book should I start with?
For a December puzzle a day, adults and teens start with the ALIBI-X Advent Calendar or The Mysterious Countdown. For October, pick ALIBI-X: Murder on Halloween Night or The Cold Room Murder. For kids, Catch the Halloween Thief! and Catch the Christmas Thief! are the place to start.
Which books are for kids?
Catch the Halloween Thief! (ages 7 and up), Catch the Christmas Thief! (ages 8 to 12) and The Escape Room Advent Calendar for Kids (ages 6 and up). The family escape rooms work for adults and children together. ALIBI-X and the adult escape rooms are made for adults and teens.
Do I need an app or a phone?
No. The cases are solved on paper with a pencil.

No. This site never shows a solution, an answer key or a culprit. The answers stay at the back of the books.
